NeriStay Cancellation Policy

At NeriStay, we aim to provide a fair cancellation policy that protects both guests and hosts while ensuring a smooth booking experience.

1. Guest Cancellation

Free Cancellation

Guests may cancel their booking within 24 hours of making the reservation and receive a full refund, provided the check-in date is at least 7 days away.

Standard Cancellation

• 7 or more days before check-in: Guest receives a 90% refund of the booking amount. A 10% service fee may be retained to cover payment processing and administrative costs.
• 3–6 days before check-in: Guest receives a 50% refund.
• Less than 72 hours before check-in: No refund will be issued.

1. Early Departure

If a guest decides to leave before the scheduled checkout date, refunds will not be provided for unused nights unless approved by both the host and NeriStay.

3. Host Cancellation

Hosts should avoid cancelling confirmed bookings.

If a host cancels:

• The guest will receive a 100% refund.
• NeriStay will help the guest find a similar verified apartment where available.
• Repeated cancellations may lead to penalties, temporary suspension, or removal of the host's listing.

1. Booking Modifications

Requests to change check-in dates, checkout dates, or guest details are subject to host approval and apartment availability. Additional charges may apply.

5. No-Show Policy

If a guest does not arrive on the check-in date and fails to notify the host or NeriStay, the booking will be treated as a No-Show, and no refund will be issued.

6. Exceptional Circumstances

NeriStay may approve a full or partial refund in exceptional situations, including:

• Serious medical emergencies.
• Government travel restrictions.
• Natural disasters.
• Security emergencies affecting the apartment location.

Supporting documentation may be required.

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method. Depending on the payment provider or bank, refunds may take 5–10 business days to appear.

8. Service Fees

NeriStay's service fees and payment processing charges may be non-refundable where permitted by law.

9. Dispute Resolution

If a disagreement arises between a guest and a host, NeriStay will review the available evidence and work toward a fair resolution. Decisions made by NeriStay regarding marketplace disputes will be considered final.

By completing a booking on NeriStay, both guests and hosts agree to this Cancellation Policy and the platform's Terms of Service
